I was a little scared to punch 1/2" holes in the door frame. I only did 1/4" holes at first. After a bunch of cussing, dropped bolts and nuts, ranting and raving I finally did 1/2" holes. So much easier to get the bolts started. It was real easy and now I can roll the window down....

Nice yea that's a good link but I used rivets and was so much easier I hated messing with the nuts and bolts

That seems like a awful lot of extra work. When I've done both of mine I just drilled out the 4 rivits for the motor itself, pulled it and the regulator out, swapped the motor and reinstalled it with some 1/4-20 1/2" bolts. Nice and easy, no drilling of the door structure.

Im with FasTimeSS...I just used rivets. Super easy to install with no dropping nuts and bolts or cussing up a storm.
