Looks like a polarizer or diffuser filter and slightly under exposed.

I searched them and might get a set cause they aren't real expensive.

Do they come with bulbs?
Are they brighter than stock?

Those look like K2 motors. They can come in "chrome" backing or black like mine (Not sig pic.)

Awesome car bro! I'm a big SOM fan.

Thank you for the kind words.

Little Bro said that he used neither a polarizer or diffuser. He just used the lens itself and did no editing on the photos. He did agree that the last photo showing just the car's front was under exposed.

Car looks killer.

Thanks for doing exactly what I was contemplating doing. I want to get the Sunoco hood sooooo bad, and I was wandering what that grill would look like on my car. The only other thing I would add is some stripes down the side of the raised portion of the hood, the ones that usafcrewchief has. And I have the exact headlights too. Kinda creepy. What made you go with black side mirrors?

Heres how my car sits right now.

Very Nice-Is that a VFN Hood? How difficult was it to install/fit? I have the same hood -I have yet to have it installed.Finishing the motor & chassis first.

Thanks guys, The hood is getting re-finished right now, and the stripes are getting painted on this time. The hood fits well, but it needs to be adjusted again. The hood is good quality, but it depends on how picky you are with quality. We'll see how the hood looks when it's done

Thank you for the compliment. Your car looks great too. Black wheels go really well with SOM.

I just Googled camaro black side mirrors and my own poll from 2005 that I had forgotten about came up first.

What looks better on the '98-'02 Camaro: black side mirrors or body-colored?

Despite the fact that nearly 70% voted to have body-colored side mirrors, I still went with my original intent of going with the black side mirrors. I think they match the black hardtop and GM originally intended the LS1 4th gen to have the black side mirrors as evidenced by the 1998 model year.

Thank you and, yes, it is a VFN hood. I don't remember my body shop manager complaining about the install/fit, but he did say that he had to add fiberglass to the hood just to make it look right.

If you don't mind -what's the cost to have it fitted and installed?

Thank you for the compliment. The wheels are forged aluminum 18x9.5" Forgeline RS-5 spokes. They have been discontinued. I don't know what their offsets are.

Mine cost abut $150-200 to get the hood fitted correctly and adjusted. It's just depends on who you know.
