I'd be glad to throw a pic or two when Mike finishes mine....or he will

FreakishSpeed Feb 6, 2011 06:56 PM

wait, you have to send YOURS to them for them to do the whistler mod? Or do they sell their OWN headlights already done with the whistler mod.

I know what it is. I just wanted to see the ones they were SELLING. Maybe there is a variation in the way they do there

67goatman455 Feb 6, 2011 07:44 PM

you do it yourself

Its not going to fix your lens issue... Whistler mod = painting the inside of the housing to outline the reflect portion only. See above or do a search for additional clarification.

how is the HOUSING on them? as most of you know most of the after market headlights are ASS and so is the rubber trim around the lights. They don't fit right and start to crack due to weathering.

I got the Halo Ass headlights lol I want the OEM ones but new go for almost 400 ea.

Walmart sells the Mothers Headlight kit to get all the glaze off the headlights your talking about. The more time you put into them the better they come out.

you can get them looking new again :)

Z28/2002 Feb 7, 2011 09:42 PM

The housing looks just like the factory pieces and the rubber is better than the set I took off. I just put them on the car so time will tell what happens to them

FreakishSpeed Feb 8, 2011 10:23 AM

walmart? really? Ill have to go there today. Thank you
