Default Show me your polished up engine bay!

I'm starting on my own engine bay polishing project and I want to see what kind of results everyone else is getting. So far I've got the valve covers, evaparator canister, throttle body, maf ends and some various fittings done up real nice. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Where on LI are you and what do you drive?

And yea, where are the pics? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'd post a pic of mine, but under the hood isn't polished...just a plain LS1 with an SLP lid <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Since nobody else is posting (wheres Todd??) here ya go:

<img src="http://members.aol.com/steven0932/engine1.jpg" alt=" - " />

Here is how it looks now <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />
<img src="http://members.aol.com/steven0932/motor.jpg" alt=" - " />

The new version should make the old version look pretty cruddy <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

EDIT: pic didn't work, so I'll just post the link: Engine Bay

Engine bay isn't THAT polished, I hate having it on the same page as Steve's, but oh well. Actuall all that's polished is the 'canister and the 'lid.

Nate

Hey Steve!

Looks amazing as usual! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Where did you get those carbon fiber accents for the fuse boxes and the ugly discolored piece by the washer fluid container?

Thanks!

I put my at the bottom of my hatch, can hardly see it. I think it looks kinda crappy up top like a banner oh well.
Steve, do you know how much a used pair of valve covers are? I want to send mine to get powder coated but my baby is a daily driver. How much did it cost you?
