Interior + Courtesy LED's Finished Only ran out to grab one pic! Tapped into the wires at the rear view, the BCM wires started to piss me off. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...x/DSCN6282.jpg |

The BCM is mounted to the duct behind the glovebox so that is likely the connectors you saw. I was having trouble getting enough room to pull the BCM harnesses down to splice into them, so instead I took off my rear view, pulled down the headliner and spliced into those same wires. The blue with white power wire controls them to shut off after the door is open for too long. The white (ground) controls the dimming effect. Instead, I used the white as the ground for the LED's, and used the BAT (battery) fuse as the power from the fuse box. |

Looks like a clean install. I tapped into the dome light power source for my UV LEDs: http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0324_large.jpg http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0325_large.jpg |
OP, looks good.. heres some pics of mine. Sorry for the poor quality, my camera was not cooperating with me. FWIW, I wanted them on when the headlights are on so I tapped into the ash tray light.. Ran two lights in parallel. I also just installed a small red led behind my rearview mirror that shines down dimly onto my shift knob/ cup holder area. looks sweet at night, but doesnt really show up in pictures. (I dont know why the red lighting showed up so bright in the second pic, its more subtle in person) http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/...6/SAM_0245.jpg http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/...6/SAM_0241.jpg |
Sweet. Now you gotta keep your floors vacuumed 24/7 lol |
looks good man. I ordered all my LEDs a week or so ago. Now just gotta pull the car out of storage |
Which led strips are you using for this? Looks awesome! |
