1. First off, did the SS Camaros have the emblems "factory" on the taillight panel?



2. Anyone have exact placement measurements for the emblem if so or pictures? Ive seen various locations on Camaros, trying to find the exact spot.

No. The SLP emblem did not come on the cars.

Most people put them underneath the driver side tail light.

The above post is correct...that emblem did not come on SS's from the factory.

I ended up installing the SLP emblem centered up with the line on the taillight since that was the center of the emblems on the other side. Then I took two strips of masking tape and placed them on the top and bottom of the panel which left just enough space for the emblem and gave me a straight line to place the logo.

Thanks! I may have to end up getting the full 6LE rear bumper/CME because I noticed my bumper dips a little under the SS emblems. Not sure if it can be heated up and fixed or may just have to buy the entire rear bumper/CME from 6LE. Either way...CME is gonna look nice on this Camaro!

Roger is checking with SLP to see if he is allowed to make it. Third Shift Studios who did my dash plaque has emailed me back and offered to make them for me, just like the originals.

SLP car here but didn't come with an SLP emblem under driver tail light so this must be something that people just add to their cars.

I just bought a few NOS SLP's emblems off Ebay and they are pricey if you want new.

roger said no go, SLP hasn't emailed me back yet. Third Shift Studios as already sent me a template design 4in long x .5in tall; ready to go if I want them just fyi.
