Default Did some work on my taillight filler panel today

I have a 30th anniversary (white letters and bird) filler panel on my car right now, but it's starting to fade.
I got bored today and went and got my original filler panel that came on the car with the red bird and lettering out of my shed.
I wet sanded the red lettering and bird off and then buffed and polished it, it came out amazing, its like glass.
It came out so good i didn't know if i wanted to put the vinyl decals on it, I went ahead and put them on, but im still not sure...... what do you guys think? take the decal off or leave the decal on?

thanks man, it wasn't to hard. I worked down to 2000 grit, then used meguiars ultimate compound on a wool pad followed put by meguiars ultimate polish on a microfiber pad.

Speaking of polishing them, my mother came to visit and her suv failed inspection because of yellow headlights. That dick bag at the service shop tried to charge her $100 to fix them so she would pass. I pulled them out and used my PC da buffer on them down to 2k grit the used the meguires compound followed by a machine polish. They looked brand new and didnt cost me **** and took about 30 minutes total to polish. I will be doing my tails with 1500 before I do some VHT. it should turn out nice and slick like yours.

Looks very nice. Mine is all black on my T/A but it's not as smooth as that. Can't wait to see what it looks like on the car!

Here it is on my car, yes my exhaust is off, yes it has 2 spare tires on the rear, and yes its on jack stands. I'm waiting on my narrowed MWC 9" so i sold the stock backspaced rear torq thurt II's. I have the new torq thrust II's for the narrowed rear but i didn't see a point in bolting them on the stock rear while my car sits in the drive way. I did a racetronix fuel pump kit last weekend and had the exhaust off, I didn't see any reason to put that back on yet untill i get my new rear in the car.
And yes the car is very dirty I know, It will get a outstanding detail once the new rear is in.
LOL, sorry i just knew questions would be asked about the exhaust and spare tires.
