Default Detailing my LS powered '91 Mustang

I bought the car as a roller & have it all put together, running & driving, so now it is time to work on the paint. The car was painted at some point in the past, it is not a show car job, but better than average looking. I noticed today in the setting sun that it has some pretty heavy over spray on the upper panels.

This thing is going to take some time. The black paint has the typical circular marks from poor washing habits.

I did half of the trunk just a little while ago, to see what it was going to take. I started with a new Clay Magic bar. Fired up the PC & started with a yellow kompressor pad with some 3M compound for 2 passes. Then I did a couple of passes with Menz IP on an orange Lake Country CCS pad. It seems like this will get it to where I can be happy with it, should take some time though.

Any suggestions on combos to try out?

Here are some full shots of it, so you know what I'm working on. I'm test fitting a flat/stock hood on it tomorrow & the silver stripe is going bye bye as well. (I removed th NMRA banner today)

It is still a little dusty in this pics, but I think it gives a good idea.

I'll take some pics as I go too.

Good god, I'd throw some black Classics on that bitch and rock that **** everyday ALL DAY. I bet that setup put down some nice power. ONLY thing I'd change is I'd throw a T56 in there...

And fwiw I actually think the silver stripe gives it a nice break.

Very clean engine bay! Congrats! However, I hate how foxes have those random holes everywhere.

Thanks! Yes, I will. I haven't touched it again though, the weather has been garbage & when I did go out in the garage, I changed my rear suspension around a little.

I'd love to have a set of those on there in the future!

Thanks! There is a nice panel for the side the turbo sits in, some day in the future I'll get something done with the other side to get rid of the holes.

DAMN NICE LOOKIN FOX! A Fox with a LS engine is my #3 "want car" behind my WS6 and a LS3 powered Grand National!

I'm trying to convince my friend with a 97 Cobra to swap an LS1 in it but he's too chicken to. He wants to sell the Slobra and get a LS1 Trans Am and swap an LT1 front end on it. I guess that's OK with me too! haha I switched in a 2.73 rear end into my Tans Am just to get it rolling and he STILL can't keep up with me. Oh well.

New wheels came Friday...New struts went on yesterday.

Here is a reflection shot from the trunk after going over it with the orange LC pad & Menz IP.
