Default Give some opinions on this stripe design...

I am looking for some feedback on these stripes that I have so crudely drawn on my Z. I am looking for something a little different, yet classy.
Picture the car 1.5" or so lower. This is a very old pic.
The stripes are cardinal red.
Thanks
Dave

I think the Hockey Stick style strips like the 1st gens had would look good on there. check out www.fourthcircledesigns.com and see if you like them. Shawn is a great guy to deal with. He has great pries and the best quality I've found out of all the "big name" graphics guys I've dealt with.

Thats actually a pretty cool design ...would look awesome in silver, or maybe dark pewter, or a gunmetal color (not a big fan of red)

For originallity you get a 10...but i dont really like it. Guess i'd have to see it in person. I think the hockey stripe like the Heritage Edt would be sweet, but thats just me. Overall, i love Berger stripes

I like it. That design is original and looks nice. I would think about a more creative color combo.

I like the design, although I think the stripe over the back/spoiler is too big, reminds me of the Starsky & Hutch Grand Torino.

Yeah, Starsky's car came to mind for me too...
Thanks for all the feedback.
I guess you would have to see the car in it's current state to understand why I picked red.
The front and rear letters are inlayed with red, the 2nd gen emblems on the fenders have a red Z, the look like my avitar, the calipers will be red in a couple days, and the amber tail lights are getting the axe for solid red versions.
Just the theme that I have stumbled into to break up the solid black.
I considered red 35th ann. stripes, but don't know that I like stripes going over the car, plus I don't have my fiberglass hood yet. If I get the hood design I want, 35th stripes wouldn't work anyway.
Oh, if I did this, it would have a tiny outline stripe with it.
Thanks again
Dave

Dave.....it looks really good.....I would say go for it!

I like the way the center stripes (not the side strip...I think thats too much) run on the car HeritageLS1 posted (assume its his) but I'm not a big fan of yellows or oranges....to each his own....

I like it. plus it's unique. I'd like to see it in silver and maybe a gunmetal/charcoal color also.
