Formula bumpers on a T/A...
Hey, I'm thinking about trading bumpers with a Formula. My car is a T/A WS6. How would this look? I have duals dumping under the axle, so I think the Formula bumper would clean it up a bit in the back. I've also always been a fan of the Formula front-end. So, I guess it would look like a Formula WS6 with a T/A hatch. Anyone have any opinions on how that would look?

I've seen T/As with firebird rear bumper covers...that looked good. But if you're going to do both the front and rear, you'd have to remove the ground effects in the middle for it to look good, IMO.

Formula front and rear bumpers = <img border="0" alt="[rainbow]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_rainbow.gif" />
Let me rephrase that. <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" />
Not trying to flame anyone either! <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

If you switch the Trans Am bumpers, and take the Trans Am side ground effects off, for Formula style bumpers you won't regret it. IMO the Formulas look alot better with the T/A hatch then the T/A's do (not trying to flame anyone). I had just the T/A hatch and WS.6 hood on my Formula before I got ground effects and it looked really good.

I like both the Formula and T/A styles. But, if I have to pick one..., well, I did pick just one and it was the T/A <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
Formula rear looks good on a T/A, but I would stop there if it were my car. JIMO.

Re: Formula bumpers on a T/A...
I prefer the Formula nose over the T/A nose, mostly because of appearance (the T/A nose is too exagerated IMO) and many people confuse the Formula with the V6 (sleeper status, kinda). Although, I prefer the T/A rear bumper over the Formula bumper (again, cleaner lines). I agree with the others though that if you get both the Formula front and rear bumpers, you'll have to remove the side gfx. It wont flow well with the lines anymore. Unless you only change the nose. In which case you can leave the side gfx and add the V6 GT package nose gfx to round out the whole package.

I like the look of the T/A front bumper...I think the front end of the formula is too plain....
I do like how in 97, they offered a T/A spoiler on the formula firehawks... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
