Default moved / flush -er fog lights T/A

I moved the fog lights on my 2000 Trans Am about 2 5/8" forward, not quite flush with the edge, leaving at least a 1/2" recess...

**to start i had previously switched my fog lights to work as the drl's and turn signal lights, and then deleted the factory drl housings, in favor of a honeycomb grill coming soon in the 4th pic...

install was pretty simple:
- cut/notched the top of the fog light area in the bumper, the top of the fog lights has the angle adjuster screw, and only the bumper had to be trimmed, the foam was nicely already out of the way
- had to flatten out the bottom of the fog light bracket that attached to the frame, (edges are rounded) and had to trim one side
- i used a couple leftover strips of flat metal i cut and drilled
- bolted on my new 'extensions,' with the fog lights on top of the brackets
- screw the bulbs back in (a pita now)
- and

i moved them up and back a few times, i think they are at a good depth. the height stayed the same i just had to center them side to side...

whuchallstank??

it looks a little unnatural if you know what i mean. like if somebody never saw a trans am or firebird before they would think they are aftermarket.

I honestly don't think the average person will notice that, f-body owners might but most won't, IMHO. Long as you like it, thats all that matters.

yea the deep recess from the factory gives it a certain aggressiveness, nah nothing big, and thanks all... im going to mess around with the grills and see how it goes, but it is different.
