slp grill..leave as is or go back to black
 

just wanted to get some opinions...my grill needs to be repainted anyway so i was thinking about getting it painted back to black because sometimes the way my grill is painted looks kinda odd to me. here are some pics

I like the black better (but not by much lol). For me i like it when at some angles, you can only see the "SS" badging, like you would say in a shadowing type of situation. Although, the way it is now, thats a unique look i must say and not in a bad way either.

What if you painted it back to black but left the middle bar white. That way the screws wouldn't show and plus it would be another way of ROCKING your grill.

or paint it all white and do the back black and the middle bar. photoshop time

Here's how I did mine...never seen one done like this, so that's why I did it. I'm happy with how it turned out. I think all black w/ the cross bar white would be nice.

I think if you went back to the all the black grille you would want more black on the car... headlights, wheels, tint, etc. With all those non-black items like you have the grille looks good the way you have it.

I like the white, it's different.

All white would look great IMO

Large grill openings are a common theme on aggressive modern cars, with yours painted white it makes the car look more dated like a lt1 car.

The black makes the grill look bigger and more open and keeps the car looking fresh even though it's older.

i actually have tint now and not to long ago had whistler headlights and black side markers...it was to much black to me

I like it white, its different, but you cant go wrong either way.

With white, looks kinda plain, would go all black imo.

I'd say if you leave it black, you need some more black on the front, like whistler mod.

lol they actually are cleaned up now and look much better, i just havent taken any updated pics...the ones i posted are like 2 years old

once you go BLACK there's no turning back LOL do something different that you haven't done yet and if you don't like it change it.

I think black with a white middle bar might look alright. We need a photoshop lol

The white looked a TON better with the whistler mod and dark signals to break up the front, without it there is nothing but a sea of boring on the front of the car.

First off please polish those headlights up lol I think leave it the way it is if you plan on cleaning everything the same , your car is screaming for a whistler mod and some black running lights and if so maybe paint the grille black again or reverse the scheme , white center section then black around and the split if not that I would paint it blac again.

i didnt really like the whistler mod on this car, i loved it on my other car which was red. My stock headlights aren't hazy anymore like they were in the pics so they look alot better now and for some reason to me white cars look alot better with the stockers if they arent hazy that is.

the stockers are clear now...those pics are two years old. Also i posted pics when i had the whistler and dark corners above, i really dont like that look but others seem to love it

well i gotta go with what the wife says then lol. But seriously im gonna paint it back to black, probably just take it up to maaco or something since im sure they would do it for cheap.

I agree.

I love white cars, but they need some dark accents to really POP. Too much white ruins the look. Which is why I HATE white cars with white wheels.

I think its something different, not the best, but i think better than stock

They both look good, but I like the black the best

im thinking of doing mine all white , i just had the mantis done in gloss black on my 3 inch ss hood , i think it looks good black or white n black,my note is to cut a big hole in the front for a intercooler lol
