Default Can my seatbelt be repaired?

So several months ago I was buckled and had to lean out of my window while stopped to swipe my card so that I could get into a parking structure. As I did, I heard a crack, looked down and saw that the plastic part of my seatbelt, where it actually connects/clicks in was broken. I know this is vague but I can't think of what the thing is called. Not the plastic part with the button on it (gosh I sound like an idiot ), but the seatbelt head that slides up and down on the strap-that plastic piece that you can adjust and lock the tightness of the belt! It's completely broken off and non-existant.

I did a search and couldn't find anything-I even ed.

Can I put on a new one of these or do I have to buy a whole new seatbelt?

Thanks for you patience with my idiocracy!

Nobody?

Maybe I posted in the wrong section but I assumed this has to do with interior maintenance.

Lol, I know.

But for now, yes the plastic part of the buckle.

It does feel dangerous if I were to get into a car accident because the belt is always a little loose and won't stay snug.

Well I'm glad you're ok!

I still want to repair it if possible; I hate tightening it over and over just to have it loosen up after 30 seconds!
