West Texas Blues

i'm this far fixing my cracked dash and i'd like to spread another layer of epoxy over the crack just for good measure. I don't know much about 2 part epoxy, does this stuff expand or contract? will i be ok doing another layer without worsening the problem? the existing layer of epoxy has been on for about 24 hrs now. i figure i'd ask just to be on the safe side.
