Which HID's for fogs?
 

Sorry guys if this has been over posted but couldn't find anything on a search.

02 camaro, which HID fogs to get? Bought two sets, one for some new angel eyes and one for the fogs but they don't fit.

Just type in '886 hid bulb' on eBay and get 6000k and you'll be good to go. It's going to be a straight bulb as opposed to the 90° stock 886, but it works.

Oh, also take the little rubber gaskets off the stock bulb and put then on the hid's. The hid's come with new ones, but they're too thick and won't let the bulb turn to lock in so the fix is using the old gaskets instead.

ok thanks for the info man. But I'm assuming I'll need the ballasts too right? I have a 6k HID kit already, could I just use that with the 886 HID bulb? Or new ballasts too

The ballasts you have should work.

Hmmm so sylvania says it's a 896 bulb I just found...and the bulbs from the kit I bought only disconnect at the ballast, not at the end of the connecting wires coming from the ballast...
