Default what is needed to swap from 110 mph to 150 mph gauges?

I have a 94 m6 Formula and it came with 110 mph gauges. I want to swap to 150 mph gauges. What do you need to make it work and be accurate?
A cluster and a tune?
Will a cluster from a 97 and up Firebird fit, or do I have to get a 93-96 cluster?

I searched around for a while and couldn't get a clear answer so if someone could shed some light on the subject it would be greatly appreciated.

just buy the 150 cluster and i may be wrong but yours is a 94 like mine so you might have to stick to the analog odo on there. i picked up a 150 mph cluster at a junkyard for 75 bucks

My 95 formula has a 98 v6 cluster and it works fine except the temp all clusters from 93 to 98 are analog

So a ls1 cluster is digital and a lt1 is analog.
If I wanted to use the digital cluster how would I make it work? Swap the analog odometer onto the new cluster?

I don't want to install it unless I can get everything to work correctly, and if the newer cluster is not easy to convert to work, then I will just use a LT1 150 mph cluster.

Will I need a tune to get the gauges to read right after swapping from 110 to 150?

You need a 94-96 150MPH cluster. It just plugs in and everything should work. You need to have the odometer re-set to the mileage of the vehicle chassis, otherwise it's a federal offense.

93, 97, 98, and 99-02 styles will not work for you. Each one of those is different than the 94-96 clusters and each other.

Okay so I need a 94-96 150mph cluster. My car has about 74,000 miles so it might be kind of hard to find a cluster with about the same miles. I looked on ebay and every cluster I saw was 140,000 miles or more.

If anyone has one let me know.

The mileage can be fixed by a gauge cluster recalibration shop.
