Been using it since I got the car in sept 2000. I like it. It is not too shiney and does not sling off. I am on my second set of tires now and they have not turned brown from the product. I also use it on the rubber trim on the outside of the doors and all the rubber seals. If you want real shiney tire protectant you may want to look elsewhere.

Try ArmorAll's tire shine. Comes in a "windex" type bottle and is a clear liquid. Works really well and will not come off onto your car after driving around. And plus it stays on for days at a time.
Good stuff!
Never tried the Z-16.

Meguiar's High Gloss Shine is the best product I've used. Stays on for weeks, not days. Smells like grapes, too.

It is pretty good and smells good. Just don't accidently leave it in your car on a cold day. I did and when it thawed it seperated and was no good. If I still lived in Florida I would not have had that problem!

It does smell like grapes but don't eat it as it might leave your teeth to shiney and glossy and blind other drivers when you smile while passing them.

I left some of that Meguiars tires gel in my car too, it was all over my carpet after two days of setting. I work at a detail shop and I couldnt get that stuff out for my life. I had to throw the mat away because my car had grape smell in it (not that I didnt like it).

I'm not into the "wet" look for tires. I prefer the look of the Z-16, it still looks like a tire. It is a more of a satiny look. It has UV which helps protect the tires. It doesn't sling off either.

I agree with Kevin - thats why I like stoners.

Stoners is available at most/all auto parts stores and leaves a nice satin sheen on tires.
