I just did that yesterday! Used that site http://www.xse.com/leres/ss/drl.html
and everything went perfectly! Only took about 10 minutes.

Do you mean the DRLs or the autoheadlights? I don't think the DRLs can be turned off with a resistor, the autoheadlights can.

That explains how to disable the DRLs and autoheadlights, OR the autoheadlights alone.
