really need some teaching on interior led's
 

I have a 93 purple pearl metalic z28. I wanted some ideas on interior lighting. The leds by the door switches both ripped out doing speakers. Where can I find these? Also looking for the lights on review mirror and possibly some footwell lights or something of that nature. Maybe one in cupholder? Shoot me some ideas! I'm going to need detailed instructions for install. I'm terrible with wires. Pictures would be very helpful.

walmart and autozone sell led lights you plug into your cig lighter

i get all my lights off ebay.

ebay has TONS of LED strips for cheap.

Ya but I don't want to plug them into the cig lighter. I want them to come on by a switch or something

This is a good start but there is still more to know!

I recently purchased two 3-chip blue SMD bulbs for the door switch lights. After struggling for a bit trying to fit a square peg in a round hole I realized that I just needed to file the corners of the smd down some. I get much more light from this SMD bulb than the stock #74.

Waiting for some other ones to come in for the HVAC controls.



Back to the OP, are you saying that you damaged something and need to replace it or are you simply looking for replacement bulbs?

im not trying to just change some light colors im trying to add new bulbs, the ones in the mirror, cupholder maybe, maybe one pointing at my heat controls above head unit. (its a 93 its not lit up)
