Default Custom LED Tail lights

EDIT!! Since photobucket wants to rip us off to post photos, I've added the link to my library so you can go direct to the source!

http://s187.photobucket.com/user/bigmf6602/library/

Hey guys.... just thought I would share with you what I made over the past few weeks. I never liked all of the LED tail lights that were on the market to buy for our cars, so I decided to make my own. I had to cut up the stock tail lights to get it done, but its a look that I KNOW that nobody else has

Enjoy......

not to shabby man.... I will say, I think your lines would look alot more crisp if you make yourself some custom fitting bread boards, with some high output leds, it would really only require some very basic circuiting

^^^ I will probably be making some myself in the coming months...

OMG... Those look like eBay LED strips. LOL.

Nice work... Was expecting something a lot more labor intensive than that. lol

Yes I think the leds to seem a little cheesy around the curve for some reason maybe because their not straight like the bottom I think with the all clear red lens and a decent led design simlar to the newest a7 Audi. Would look great I think the current design you have would look great if it was a solid light kind of like how the BMW tails are not sure how they achieve that effect though

thanks guys... the point of doing it with the strips is to keep from having to go and create a circuit board of LED's and show people that it can be done by anyone with basic skills. I was lazy and didnt feel like creating a board and this is just like plug and play. and the LED's around the perimeter were to have the look like a lot of the newer cars do with the perimeter lighting. I love the way it looks and it definitely more character to the car and looks way better at night IMHO... ill try to get some night shots of it up soon
