How do you fix SS 3rd light led's

1 Attachment(s)
So, I noticed that I have 6 led lights out on my 3rd brake light SS wing. Does anyone know how to fix them? Or is it too much of a hassle and I should just buy the replacement bar. If that's the case where is the best place to get it from. I tried ebay but couldn't couldn't find it.

It seems to be very common, but no one has a real solution.
thanks guys

Just replace it. Hawks Third Gen sells them on their site and on eBay as well

I just found out in the summer, my cousin was inside my garage when I was reversing and he told me I had a few out :bang: I wished he never told me. A few weeks ago I saw another 4th gen. SS with the same problem too.

Here's mine....

I told my self if mine died I would do whatever I could to make the LED's center and symmetrical. Night shade over the un lit portion so it blends into my car.

Cant some LED wiz fix these things?

you can probably buy a replacement led and fix it yourself if you have any soldering skills.

The hard part wouldn't be repairing/replacing the LEDs, I think the hard part would be getting inside to do it in the first place. Those probably don't come apart too easily I suspect.

That's why in the end I would just buy a full replacement one and be done with it.

Ya, full replacement is the only option. You gotta know how to install it too, think splicing is involved.

ive replaced mine before. trust me its a lot easier just buying a new piece. i cut mine apart and siliconed it back together.
