Default New finish on valve covers finished today

Finally finished the new look of my stock valve covers, grinded the coil pack mounting bosses off, filled holes with epoxy and sanded smooth, cleaned out the 2 stripes with the dremel, masked them off to keep them clean. Painted with 4 coats of high temp gloss black, then 4 coats off high temp clear.

Here is a before shot of them, just painted black.

The way they look now.

Very cool! That's a lot of work, but the results look as if they were well worth it.

Yea it's a mustang body that I took off my R/C car and replaced with a SS body to match my car. I just use the mustang body when I want to beat on it since I don't care how scratched up that ugly mustang body gets.

I like FRC's too I had a set of carbon fiber FRC's on the car, but I like having the coil packs out of the way more. So the carbon FRC's will be going up for sale soon!!!
