Default What size torx wrench does it take to get the Firebird seatbelt off?

I am having to replace the little loop around the headrest that holds the seatbelt back and I need to remove the seatbelt to do this. Just wanted to know what size to use before I go buy one. Thanks

T50 but a T47 may fit better.

I used a T50 today on mine, its a camaro but should be the same I'd think.

well, actually...for the front seatbelts I don't think the T50 fit, I believe I had to use the T47. I did use a T50 for the rear seat bolts (on the sides)

It seems to vary, not sure if because previous owners mixed up the bolts or what, but in my bird it was a T47, but in a Trans Am I worked on it was a T50.

Regardless, it's usually smart to buy a "set" versus individually anyway, so you'll be covered when you go and buy your bits.

It is a T47.... which autozone had. To design it to accept a T45 or a T50 would make too much sense.
