Though now I'm reading clear tail lights are illegal apparently?

Seems like somebody could make the housing in clear with no honeycomb and either buy/have a pattern made and overlay it on the lights? Then perhaps coat over it to just save it? I wouldn't mind experimenting with a pair if I got them cheap, not that I have any experience.

My plan for making the clear lenses is to form a clear lens from an original then place the Hexagon Pattern on the inside, spray black paint, then peel the hegagons off. With the paint on the inside, it couldn't get damaged. I'd then coat with a good clear inside and out before reassembling the light.

OP, the renderings look pretty neat. Definitely 2011+ 5.0ish.

I do like the clear honeycombs the most, tho. To bad they aren't real.

6LE, I've never ever seen aftermarket Pontiac taillights. I wonder why? Either it was hard to beat the original design or the market is to small maybe? I wouldn't even know where to start with making some quality taillights. How does the car manufactures do it?

Out of curiosity, what do you think a ball park price would be for two of the tails?

If they were able to be 250-300$ (shipping not included) and you could copy the ones in the photoshop of the black car, you have one buyer.

Stock ones sell for 175-200$ shipped... So I think it would be smart for you as well if you could hit that price, why not buy yours for another 100-125$?

It could be a core exchange thing, if you use the stock ones.. I would send mine in + 100-175$ for the ones in the pic.

You have some awesome designs concepts and products but a few I have seen if they would have stuck with the first design, I would buy it... But the final product is a bit too much for me.

Less is more I guess for me.
