Default What Wheels should I get? *88 Formula White on Charcoal* PICS

I am getting my Formula repainted stock colors and stock decals and everything. What wheels should I get? I am thinking of getting ZR1 Wheels and painting them to match the Charcoal on the bottom...

What does everyone else think? I want my car to stand apart from the crowd and look clean. I want 17's for the tire selection...

The car is all business. Car is used for drag racing and time attacks...

Trying to find an affordable set of wheels.

Here it is with my old GTA wheels (sold wheels)

And here is one with the stock wheels on Drag Radials

ZR1s look great on 3rd gen Camaros, I imagine they'd look good on yours as well. Try and have someone shop them on there, I have a set on my 00 TA and they clean up well!

I vote for Ls9 zr1 wheels.
A mold zr1 are too common.
Will keep in line with the ta crosslace wheels sorta.
But they may not be available unless you find some on eBay

what about them BMW wheels all the TA guys put on there cars, or CCW but your old rims kinda look like them. I think a wheel with a lot of spokes look good on TA IMO

I have a set of SS 10 spokes I was going to paint Charcoal, but I think I am going to sell them and go with something else. I love the way they look, just don't think I can pull them on my Formy...

Those are some nice wheels! I just don't like white wheels, which is what paint is for...

I had someone suggest the 17" snowflake wheels offered by Year One, Those could look good...

I really like the wheels on the Black Formula that Hawks did... Magnacharged LsX I believe.

I once saw one like yours with 4th gen ws6 speedline wheels and it looked pretty good. I do not have a pic, I guess it had wheel spacers to make them fit.

I am not a fan of the 09 ZR1's, but the 09 6LE Spyders are sweet... and they make replica's in 17". what does everyone think? I am going to do a photoshop in a few days of all the different wheels I am looking at...

I never thought Id like the year one wheels. I have an Red 87 GTA and always wanted a 17 or 18in wheel. They arent excatly like the GTA mesh wheels but they deff dont look as bad as I thought. Hmmm now I just need to get in gear and get this car done!

The old school PMDs in 17 front/18 rear and a drop would look sick on that car. Third gen Formula 350s are some of my favorite cars

I bought Year one honeycombs for my GTO and am happy with the quality.

I vote for the 92 Firehawk wheels- best looking wheel on a 3rd gen in my opinion.

I know someone was selling replicas.

There is a guy with the Firehawk wheels (R15) on his formula with the same paint and I am not a huge fan of it. Right now I am really liking the Year One Snowflake wheels... I think my car could really pull them off if I lower the car a bit.
