Don't waste your money on the ones with black housings as there is no chrome to reflect the light from the bulbs, so they are extremely dim..

^^Exactly. I used to have a pair before I switched to custom LED lights. As long as the housing has some chrome to reflect light, you'll be good to go. You could also try some glossy vinyl tint, which is easier than VHT and can be removed if you don't like it..
