just another little job turned into a project...
 
went to change water pump on my engine, and ended up cleaning up some stuff... polishing fuel rail and valve covers, will have better pics when i finish them...i wish they just made nice valve covers for my car...

just tried one spot in valve cover, looks like itll end up pretty nice, just like 1000 hours to go lol

Im doing the covers on my LQ9 swap... Im walnut blasting mine first then polishing with the bench grinder/wheel... yours look good so far man..

I would assume you are just using a buffing wheel and some polishing compound right? If not I'm curious as well. Either way it looks really good so far.

thanks for comments..on my fuel rail i used green scotch bright pad to get the black coating off, then maroon scotch bright pad to smooth out scratches, 800-2000 sandpaper.. then a powerball and mothers aluminum polish... on fuel rail mounts and valve covers. im using 400 sandpaper the get smoothed out and same process as above... im not a pro at polishing shit and there is prolly easier ways to do this but jus using shit i have laying around the garage..
