Default I've owned my car for 8 years now and detailed it today

I bought my car 5/1/04. I got it washed and had the oil changed today so i decided to throw another coat of wax on it. I'd say it looks pretty damn good for 137k miles. the paint on the door in the reflection pic is original GM paint.

more like 17.5 year old paint it was built in october '94.

some of it has been repainted (hood/bumpers/roof panel/gfx) but that door is oem.

yeah the fact it was never driven in winter/salt helps alot.

btw those 2 dots in the door pic are from a rock that flew up over my hood and hit the door twice on the way to the trans am nationals in 2010.

I'm sure it helps. here's an under hood pic from a few weeks back when i installed that KITT led light.

and 2 pics from 2010 showing the underbody. nothing's changed under there since then. i saw under the car yesterday at the oil change place and it's as clean as ever (there's a bit of oil under there protecting the underbody, but most LT1's have that, lol)

thanks guys if you get close you can see rock chips and small scratches here and there but that's to be expected with a 17+ year old 137k mi car. hell i've seen C6 vettes that didn't have nearly as shiny/swirl free paint as my car, lol.

this is the underbody of a 97 camaro i helped a friend of mine buy that was originally from NY with about 90k miles. this is why southern cars > northern cars, lol.

and come to think of it, this pic under my car is newer, from january of this year.

and yeah the pinion seal has leaked in the past or is leaking again (i got the seal changed few years ago)

hey I'm just updating this because it was actually 8 years ago today that I bought the car god I feel old. I waited until a few months before I turn 25 so I could afford the insurance so do the math lol.
