there is a U shaped pin that goes into the front of the shifter nearest the radio. I'm pretty sure you pull it out and pull up ..

I used MBA adapter and Hurst t-handle. Works for me and looks better than the factory piece.

Here are pics of the Trailblazer SS T-Handle & Hurst T-Handle:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...o-shifter.html

The adapter that WS6 store and other places sell will allow the use of almost any manual **** in place of the stock auto ****. Instead of pushing a button, you push down on the shifter.

I couldn't find a pic of the Pistol Grip installed on an A4, this is the closest I could find:

I have the following for sale, if it helps anyway:

MBA shifter adapter (eliminates the need for a button)
Firebird/Trans Am stock T-handle shifter
Delrin smooth manual shift **** (dark gray), no printing on it.

Let me know if you can use any of them, they're just sitting downstairs in a box.

No, i love my 3600 stall, I modded the shifter so there is no push button through the shaft...This keeps my wife from driving the car when I'm working cause she doesn't know how to get it into gear
