Fitment problems with FRC's on 01' SS... HELP! Hey guys, I bought a set of Z06 FRC's and it is a huge pain in the ass to put them on my 01' SS...... but I imagine many of you out there have already done this.... so if there is anyone who has pics/step by step process with how much to cut off each FRC to make them fit I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks |

http://www.sysadminzone.com/ta/z06cvrs/ Please do a search before posting :) This same thing was answered aboot 10 threads down. :jest: |
Yes I know that was posted and I read it and looked into it.................. BUT that was for a 99 not a 2001! They are different.... There is more cutting for them to fit on a 2001/2002. Anyone else? |
Do a search anyway, there were other sites posted that explain how to this this. --VIP1 |
Damn, since when did we get so lazy in putting in our two cents? I remember when I first came to this board it didn't matter how many times someone asked a question, we still answered it! Now we just say, "do a search!" And have any of you all tried to search for something? Its kind of a P.I.T.A.! Anyway Ryan, Just do a search....just kidding! I just bought a pair of Z06 fuel rail covers and will get them in tommorrow and I will take pictures of the process and write up some directions for you as well. I did a set a few weeks ago and did a kinda shity job on them so I had to buy another set. But it was a learning process and I learned from my mistakes! Later. |
Usually when I say "Do a Search", I actually do a search and post some of my findings to give the person a head start. Its an easy thing to do, especially if you use the advanced version and not the simple version. I didn't in my post above, since I was short on time and this is a really common question. Here I found this in a search. It took a wopping 3min: http://community.webshots.com/album/77970122aHMOYr (Its specifically for a 2001 LS1 F-Body) I Found it in this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...&highlight=frc --VIP1 |
