Default How do I keep the damn cats off my car?

Alright, I'm tired of finding paw prints all over my hood and windshield every morning. I want to know how to keep them cats off my vehicles. Using my .45 is out of the question, so don't bother suggesting that one. I was wondering if there was any kind of chemical or powder I can put on my car that will repell the cats. I once heard that cayenne pepper does the trick, and I tried it, but the next morning I had to rinse the pepper (laiden with paw prints) off my car. I am out of ideas and Im tired of having to dust my car every morning before work. Please help.

Try a car cover. Worked for me, sure its a bit of a hassle taking it off and putting on, but drastic times call for drastic measures!!!

I would either get a car cover or start parking in the garage, if you have one. I started parking in my garage as soon as I saw paw prints on my car

I hate damn cats

I wuz gonna suggest the anti freeze, get a few small bowls of anti freez around your car, the cats will love it for a quick drink, and the next day you should find no more paw prints...., a hungry rotwiler will do the trick too

antifreeze was my answer, but if you dont want to kill them and you knows whos cats they are or see them just squirt them with water, a hose or squirt gun will work after about the 2nd time.

There was a cat liking his a$$ in front of my car a while ago. I hit the lock button on the key fob so the horn would beep, sent him flying. Did that a few times now he won't go near the car.

.22 CAL. with subsonic rounds. The shorty rounds that use just the primer cap to fire. I really don't know the actual name for these. Colibri made some in a rainbow gay box. Their super quiet, all I heard is the bolt falling on my old Marlin model 25.

I hate cats. Don't do this trick if the cat is on your car, I did it once. The cat freaked out and scrambled off the hood, putting several claw marks on my paint.

You can also get some cat-traps from your local dog pound, they will bring them to your house for no charge most of the time. Just put one in front of the car with some fresh stinky cat food, and trap that bastard. Then call the dog pound to come pick the cat-in-a-box up.

People that let their pets run around outside deserve it, especially if their POS cat is on my car.

I set my car alarm on extra sensitive...if a fly lands on the sob it screams! Cats go flying off the car the minute the step on it..but the bad thing is that this could have those bastards leaving clawmarks...

Back in FL. I had a big tomcat that thought my vette was his personal throne to lick his *** on....one carefully placed 22 mag later and the gators got to eat some pu$$y....

thats too funny.

I concur with the antifreeze part... or put out some rat poision. A neighbor had a cat that was everywhere but in his yard and we put out some rat poision to kill the "rats around the house" and just so happened that the cat ate it and it killed the cat... what a shame.

I have PERSONALLY learned that a plain bed sheet and some chili pepper---- or your choice of VERY hot seasoning works nicely. Lay the sheet on the hood. cover the sheet in seasoning. The cats get on the hood and get the seasoning on their feet and like the bottom of their feet while laying on the car.

You can buy a spray to keep them away but it smells horibble (my mom uses it in here gardens). If you really hate the cat crush up a light bulb in some tuna and leave it out for him.
