I have 3,000k, 55w HIDs in mine, and I really like the definition and clarity that they add to the road, particularly in the rain. I bought mine from VVME on ebay nearly seven years ago, and they've served me well ever since.

I did a lot of work on my Camaro's front end lighting: I installed round fog lights from a 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck, I reassigned my amber running lights/turn signals into my headlight housings, and I converted my original running lamp housing locations into full-time 55-watt HID running lights, complete with large heat extractors to prevent the plastic housings from melting.

Good luck with whatever you decide on using!

Wow that looks great. Do you have a write up or anything?

The Camaro's fog light projectors are small. 55 watt HID will definitely burn up the chrome. There have been some cases where even 35 watt HID has burned the chrome.

Ditto! The fogs in the grille look sweet! And I just happen to have a spare grille to mess around.

Z28RS - so do the four fog lights (two in stock position, two from Sierra) all light up via the same switch, or can you individually control the pairs? Why did you choose to add the amber running lights to the headlights and also run the new running lights? So both the ambers and the one in the stock position are on all the time?

That front end looks awesome. Do you have an overall build thread?

Thanks
