Default VFN WS6 Hood, New Rims, Repaint, new plates!

So, I got my new wheels and tires, along with my VFN WS6 hood. Also on the bill was a repaint of the driver's door, and both rear quarter panels (all three had heavy scratches from previous owner).

Other minor things:
1. Black T/A badges
2. New license plate

Now, my experience with the hood is that it is very high quality, and looks fantastic painted, though it doesn't fit quite right yet. Will stay in contact with VFN until it is- they have amazing customer support and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Pictures!

As you can see, the hood doesn't quite meet the edges of the headlights just right yet, but I'm confident that I'll be able to bring those in line.

The pictures don't do it justice- the car looks leagues better than it did last week! I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the repaint and the buffing they threw in. Positively gleams in the parking lot!

Still to come: Tints, Hood Stripes, "PONTIAC" fill in, "RAM AIR" decals, door stripes.

Nice man.

So I gotta ask... Are you happy with your VFN hood? I live 2 hours from them and might just go pick up a RAM AIR hood, but I'm still debating.

Also, how much does it cost for a hood paint job (on the new hood) and installation?

The paint job is going to run you around $400-700 depending on any number of things (do you do the underside, how high quality it is, etc.). I think VFN makes a great product, though I do have to admit that mine still needs adjusting to fit better. Go into it knowing that it will take a lot of work to make it look as close to stock as possible, though all aftermarket hoods will be like that.

Looks great but that car is dying for some deep dish wheels out back.

I love it! I've seen a lot of vanity plates but never that one before.

Looks great. These old red birds can shine up pretty good.
