Mclaren doors on an F-Body?
Just out of curiousity, has anyone done it? I mean doors like this:
I want to do it to my z28 lol. Although this would be the very last thing I'd do to it on the list.

A very select few cars from ASC (American Specialty Cars), the same company that created the WS6 package, also put in lambo door kits. It's option code: LDK. GM had many complaints of opening doors in tight spaces so before they could correct the issue, they had ASC add these kits. Check your door sticker for LDK, or you could open the door and look for a special bracing that is switched to factory OEM "door opening mode." I haven't switched myself but it is all explained in a Haynes manual.
Could you take a picture of the inner door well for us to take a look at?

They only looks like they belong on the cars they were designed for imo.
Lambo scissor doors belong on a lambo
McLaren doors belong on a McLaren
Gullwing doors belong on a Mercedes whatever model that comes with them
Suicide doors belong on large boxy sedans
Koenigsegg doors belong on a Koenigsegg
etc

You can keep the old Mercedes 300SL and the current SLS. I'll take a Delorean DMC-12.
