Is there a market for a stock steel Trans Am Hood?
I just put a Superhawk hood on my 99 Trans Am and now I need to get rid of the stock steel hood. Is there a market for these hoods? What can I expect to get for it? I listed it in the "For Sale" section but haven't had any responses. Thanks for the help.

Thats my deal. I dont want it to take up space in my garage and have to look at it for ever. Thanks for the help/suggestions everyone. Looks like I will probably end up tossing it or turning it in for scrap...

It's a small market but someone may want one. I know on my old Camaro when I dinged up my hood I just bought an aftermarket fiberglass hood... which never made it on the car lol and has sat in my parents' basement for over 2 years now (no room at my place) It'll be getting painted and going on my current car hopefully next summer.

Mine has been sitting in my mom's garage for over 5 years now. I know virtually nobody will buy it. My plans for it are once I get a Porter Cable buffer I'd practice on that hood with various pads, compounds and techniques before taking it to my actual car and f*ck something up on it. Another thought I had was to put a huge hood bird decal on it and hang the thing in my mancave with all the rest of my Firebird memorabilia.
