Excellent Fog light alternative install

Hello all. Here is another Fog light Alternative I wanted to share with these new fog lights that I haven't seen used yet. They are 4" fogs made for 2000-2002 Dodge Neon SRT-4's. These are CCFL halo fogs so you can choose not to light the halos but I did and they are easily visible during the day. They have an adjustment screw at the top and EXTREMELY easy to install with minimal wiring involved. These fogs use stock 880 bulbs but of course you can use HID if you prefer. Try to ignore your hatred for my bedliner and focus on the lights lol.

Here's some pics of the install! Oh and not sure about rules about posting links but I got them from a place staring with E and ends in Bay for $66.48 =O

Here they are fresh out of the Box:

1)Remove Old Fogs, and do what you want with them. You won't be using any old hardware.
2)Test fit new Fogs and use grease or peanut butter to mark where your new holes will be. They are exactly even with the existing outer holes you just have to figure out what height you want it sitting at.
3)Drill holes about the same size as the studs from the fogs
4)Insert Fogs.....I used a Nylon locking Nut (1/4"-28) to tighten them in.
5)Plug your existing fog light harness in or proceed with HID install.
6)Halos Optional. I wired mine to my side marker lights. The kits comes with the line inverters needed for CCFL Halos.

**Note you can install these upside down and use existing holes, reflectors are symmetrical both ways. But the adjustment screw will be on the bottom and looks kinda awkward there.

I just can't ignore the bedliner ..... WHY??? WHY????? You wanted a texture look? I would understand the matte black look but the ruff bedliner look? WOW you just blew my mind.

Okay back to the lights ... maybe if I had a formula or a firebird.

I would say to stay away from putting HID in those. You will produce glare.

Long story short, it would have cost me a lot to paint the car and fix all the body problems it had. It's more of low cost bandaid =/

I think you would need a band aid if you rubbed up against the car. :D

Nice fog light mod.

Nice fog light mod.

No doubt, I have had quite a few scratches on my arms from this thing lol

A band aid can be removed.... That bedliner cannot, no mater who told you what, without ruining most of the panels.

Cool fogs though.

wonder how much weight the liner added to the car???? love the mod btw....

...it's fully removable actually....I've done 2 cars and peeled parts to redo them as well. It doesn't come off as easy as say Plasti Dip but it does come off in nice big chunks.

Well I used a Gallon of liner, I don't think it gains more weight after you roll it on so probably 10-15lbs. And Thanks!
