Smile should i swap my front clip?? opinions welcome.

So... i got myself a white 95 camaro that was born a v6... i love the car.. have had it about 6 years.. about 2 years after having the car it took a dump and blew a head gasket.. after about two years of setting i finally got everything that i need to do a painful ls1 swap... i have drove the car for about 2 years now and kinda want to upgrd the looks..

I do think that it is really cool to have an lt camaro with an ls swap but I really like the looks of the hood and head lights for the 98 up cars.. i think that is really unique to have the car the way it is, but ive been floating around the idea of going to a 98 up car and would like opinions.. and who better to ask than a bunch of ls fanatics.. thanks for the opinons

The looks are your choice, never really thought less of the lt1 cars so I wouldn't bother but it is up to you.

I never like when someone does any external modifications - if "they" wanted it different they should have bought something different.

Ultimately the choice of what you do to your car is yours. If this were my project I would concern myself with the LSx Swap first. Then once that was wrapped up move on to any Appearance Modifications.

There's going to get a few who say "if you wanted a newer looking f-body you should buy one" but Its your car so do to it what makes you happy. My car was born a 95z28, I cloned it to look like a ls1 ss and stuffed an ls2 in it with a few goodies.

I would since there are so many fbodys being parted out. I think the front end looks much better. I never liked the front end of the lt1 car or there ss hood scoop of that car. I have owned to ls1 ss and love the hood and frontend. I like the Iroc Z better than a lt1 car. Your car looks great linemup. A ls2 man that must rip. I had a 2006 gto and always said I wish I had that engine in my fbody. I like the hood scoop painted. I have a black car and was thinking of doing the same. Just not sure what color.

Thanks for the compliment and you can't go wrong painting the scoop red along with the break calipers.

He said in his post that the swap was already long done. Been driving it for 2 years completed.

I say swap the front end. With the motor already in and running, I'd do it

Keep the lt1 front. I always thought it would be cool to swap an ls1 in my 94 and keep the front stock. That's just me though, I kind of like the sleeper thing.

Yea man keep the frontend and make it a sleeper. Just modify the look of those ugly square headlights thats the only thing holding the look back and outdating it.

It's yours to do what you want with.
But sleepers are cool and alot of people under estimate an LT1
car.

I'd say stay with the 93-97 front end. I think its pretty cool to have an LT1 looking car and then pop the hood and have an LS hiding in there.

Another vote for lt1 clip..i love the ls camaros, but ever since i saw the pic of the catfish with the ls camaro front clip for a face theyve always kinda looked fishy to me haha..but for what its worth spend the money making it fast to show the lt1 body some love

I'm sorry, but that's horrible logic.
