Default Firebird Door Pannels in 99' Z28

I recently bought a 99' Z28 which had alligator skin door panels and they need to be replaced quick, I honestly hate them. I want to put some Firebird door panels in my Camaro since I think they're way better looking. However I'm not sure if they match up. Would I have to move the speakers or change the window switches? Well I'm gonna buy new switches since the one's currently on there are pretty broken and worn. Do the switches have the same connectors? Also is there a way to reinforce the Firebird door panels to prevent the cracking that comes with them. I just wanna know if alot of work would be need to do the swap.

Yes, you need new switchs and door handle bezels since they are clearly different. The speakers no. As for the wires, I'm pretty sure you do have to do a little rewiring, can't remember exactly what though. A quick search on here will answer all these questions. As for the panel fitting, I think you have to drill one hole that isn't there. And yes, there is a mod you can do to prevent them from cracking. Its the staples in the black window strip that goes along the top of the panel that causes it to crack.

I tried doing a quick search but I can't really find exactly what I'm like for as far as a "How To". I've seen pictures of the swap and I think it looks great.

It doesn't seem to hard. Hopefully it'll be an easy swap.

It is. I have a set to do my car, I just need to do the upholstery before I swap em since they're a different color. I'm also gonna swap out my dash for a Firebird dash too.

Here's the pics, I know they're horrible. Everyone gives me a hard time about them so they need to go. I'd really like to know the Firebird door panel swap. If I find out exactly how to do that swap correctly I'm going for it. I'd just really wanna find out EXACTLY what needs to be done.

Well looks like I'm not doing the firebird door panel swap anymore, I just bought a pair of ebony leather door panels for $40. Now I just need to restore them since not they're not the best of shape.

Why didn't you just buy some new material and re-skin them? (pun intended)
