buff it out. If you use the buff machine, itll be a lot easier and faster.

What compounds do you recommend to use with the machine?

i used turtle wax brand products. I think it was rubbing compound and then just waxed it. Worked like a charm. I was bumped in a parking lot by a white car in a mustang i had. It came out in like 15 minutes and finished the whole process in less than an hour.

Don't start out using rubbing compound. That ****'s pretty rough and will leave a good bit of marring/scratching on the clear coat.

Start out using a clay bar.

I dont think a clay bar will work on it, it takes pressure with a finger nail to scratch the scuff off? But Im not detailer or anything like that so im not sure.

Use a claybar, if that doesn't work then use paint reducer

Always want to start light and work your way up to something more aggressive. The idea is you do the least work to bring it back to the shine it should have.

If your sanding wood you dont start with 60 grit(usually), you start with 120 or 220 and then work your way up.

Hopefully the damage isn't too severe, do you have a pic? This happened to me couple weeks ago, someone rear ended my bumper at work, ended with heavy scuffs, scratches and spider cracks, machine buffing didn't work so bumper had to be repainted. Just picked it up yesterday.

Is it just paint transfer? If so, you might be able to clay bar it off. If that doesn't work try a polish like meguiars 205. If that doesn't work try a compound. Use the least aggressive method first.
