So I ordered a Sunoco hood for my 93Z. Since I'm cheap and a friend of mine owns a vinyl company, I'm going to wrap the hood, roof and Berger panel. Question is do I go with carbon fiber or flat black?

matte black. it'll flow best with the car as it sits. that's too much cf vinyl, and it won't really work with the car as it currently is, IMO

do the mirrors while you're at it, can't have that one gloss black piece left over

The only reason I was planning on doing the roof was to tie the front to the rear looks wise. Since the at already has the black roof, going to cf isn't that much of a change. I'm worried matte black will just make it look like a car still in primer.

I say cf cause like you said it looks like its primered. Maybe some cf hockey stripes to help tie it on the sides

going to CF vinyl will be a huge change from the gloss black roof, they're not even close to similar in person.

matte black vinyl will look like a finished product, won't look like a primered/ temporary/ needs-to-be-finished paint job... unlike 90% of the flat/matte paint jobs you see. It's rare that you see a proper/quality matte black paint job done on a car

nothing against CF vinyl, just think the matte black would flow a lot better with your car.

Couldn't agree more. That would be way too much CF wrap.
