Default Anyone ever re-do their T-top headliner?

So my T-top headliner in my car is showing its age. Is there a place you guys go to get new ones? Or has anyone wrote up a good DIY guide?

I'd love to see links and pics of whatever anyone has.

I'd like to see this too. My 89 T/A's head liner is in bad shape.

I had an upholstery shop that was going to do one for me a # of yrs ago. They were unable to due to the condition of the material under the liner. Turns out the form used for holding the material is hard to come by. Would like to see a DIY thread on this myself when I do an interior color chng

If the base material is still in good undamaged condition it can be recovered otherwise it'll be a full replacement. There is a ABS replacement you can buy & either paint or have covered as well.

the headliner in my car was redone and without the holes for the sun visors. unfortunately this was done by the previous owner but I can't imagine it being very hard to do on your own. A good friend of mine has done a bunch of cars in my area. Just have to take your time laying the new material on and you can pick any color/design you want.

to anyone else reading when i had my third gen the headliner was starting to fall apart so i took it out and coated it in fiberglass resin the backing soaks it all up and makes it solid then just wrap it with whatever cloth you would want or with a little more work it could be painted
