Default Wher to find drivers seat bottom foam pad a spring support 99ss

Baught my 99ss from the original 300lbs Owner a few years ago .......,
Lately the drivers seat bottom has been really bugging me .....feels like some one took out the foam pad James a few magazines in their for stuffing and then put the leather cover back on......
No spring or cushion at all. ... Pass seat is still like new....
At way both the foam pad and spring support are discontinued thru gm.....
Any suggestions
Cover is still fine and will be reused

Go get you a stock v6 cloth seat out of a wrecked v6 camaro and swap the pad and spring over to your seat, or just swap over the leather. Junk yards have tons of v6 cars around here.

I picked up some generic solft foam sheets from the local craft store, cut those to shape, glued them down to the old seat foam to mimic the shape, and put the cover back on. It helped a ton.

I also removed some of the old foam cuz I'm tall and didn't want to sit any higher but that won't be needed for everyone.

There's a good thread on here where someone rebuild their seats using that type of foam. Search, "how to, seat covers" I need to bookmark that thread, I refer it a lot.

Restuffed my seat and it feels better but the cover looks like ***. I guess a new cover is in the future. One of my seat frame wires was broken, what is the fix for that?
