New HU and custom Ipod dock.... Hey guys, finally got around to installing a new JVC HU with the flush dash mount and a custom ipod dock i put in the ashtray. Since i dont use the ashtray for anything, so i figured i would use the ashtray for something stealthy and functional. All i did was cut out a plate to cover the whole ashtray, glued the ipod dock adapter to the bottom of the plate, glued the ipod connector to the dock adapter which is connected to the USB cable thats running to the back of the JVC HU, so when ever i slip the ipod into the slot in the plate, the HU automatically reads the ipod and plays my songs. When im not using it, just take the ipod out, close the ashtray lid and no one would know, unless i show them what i did. So, i only have a couple of pics, but they pretty much show everything i did.
