Default How to clean overspray on powder coated wheels?

Had some of my car repainted and the fools got a ton of overspray on my powder coated wheels. They have no clear on them.

What do I use to clean them up?

I used acetone on the other parts with over spray and it cleaned up easy/well.

Damn Nate, that sucks. Try a clay bar first. Maybe a polishing compound with A LOT of elbow grease...maybe a Dremel or air tool with a buffing attachment you can "lean" on? If that doesn't work, try the acetone in a small area and let it do the work.....I'd be afraid if you rub too hard with the acetone, it might kill the gloss of the powder.

Wow thats horrible of them sorry that happened to you. Doing any of these step will most likely kill some part of youre wheel job i think. But i would try first with reducer/acetone its going to be lengthy process and hard work. You could try buffing the paint off with a buffer/polisher. I would be raising hell with the people that did this......idiots

I got what I paid for. They apologized and asked for the car back so they could make it right.

I just want to deal with it my self at this point.

The painter did an awesome job, but who ever prepped the car was an idiot.

Ill try clay bar first.
