Finally Completed my engine bay redo!!!
So I got bored this winter/Spring and did all the little things I wanted to do that I could do with the engine in the car. Still wanna do more but would be easier when the motor is out...so that might be a while lol
Have a buddy that opened up a Hydro graphic and Cera-Coating business so we have been busy!
- Wire Tuck both sides
- Fill holes ( need to redo )
- Relocated Grounds
- Coil Pack Relocate
- Smoothed/Filled and hydrocoated valve covers
- Smoothed/ hydrocoated Intake
- Hydrocoated upper and lower intake pcs.
- Painted all the ugly black plastic discolored crap in front of bay.
- Painted MAF ends
- Painted TB
- Painted all bolt heads
- Tucked wiring up by ECU/Airbox
- ECU polished cover
- Painted WIper cowl and wiper arms
- Replaced old headlight Pigtails due to old one having some corrosion
- Replaced faulty IAC
- Color matched Hotchkis STB and brackets
- Painted Fuel Rails
- New S/S Fuel lines to replace ugly tin foil wrapped stock rubber units!
Kept me pretty busy!
Very happy with the results though.

Thanks guys..
to answer a few questions....
No I didnt remove the front bumper...but did remove the headlight assemblies complete and also removed the small part up in the front section that is held on by the headlight assembly on each side.
For the black parts I used Engine enamel in high gloss.
For the cowl, semi gloss engine enamel and on the wiper arms.
The reason for the engine enamel is that it lays down so amazingly smooth. It really comes out just like base/clear. Just make sure you let it dry fully before touching or re assembly. I let it sit for a week due to lower temps outside and I did several coats.
Biggest advice I can give is TAKE YOUR TIME!!! I did scotch brite and prime all of it also. Used old sheets and table cloths I had laying around from an old job to cover the bay and taped off the rest.
