If it works well with your interior than it'll look good.. Even if it sucks as an armrest. Don't really think it'll look right if it's the only carbon fiber piece though, as it won't really flow with anything else. Do you have other things done in the interior?

Gaudy, I just don't care for carbon fiber on f-bodies, I always associate it with the ricer crowd, now if they made a hardwood cover that you could then stain to your liking I think I would go for that (wishing my dads table saw wasn't tore up so I could get started on that proof of concept project.

I think it would somewhat make the car seem like you are trying too hard to make something look functional that really isn't functional at all. Similar to a Honda Civic with a big-*** spoiler on the rear. It's one thing on a supercar. On an F-body..... No.

I also agree with Crimson that it depends if you have other CF part inside.

If I walked by your car and saw that, then you better believe I would be making fun of it. But if you like it then who cares.

As others said, if it was just by itself, it would scream rice to me. But it can work if you completely redesigned your interior with carbon fiber, just don't overdo it....

Wow, $120 and its not even solid carbon? If carbon kevlar wrapped around a fiberglass armrest. I have enough carbon and epoxy in the garage to make an entire car. Maybe I should start making ridiculous little stuff like this.

I only like carbon fiber interior accents on cars with a carbon fiber chassis.

Exposed carbon fiber is a fad today like window louvers were in the 80's IMO. If it wasn't factory, in 10 years it will look out of place and not period-correct.
