Fully PlastiDip'ped Cars Thread -- DONT QUOTE PICS
Figured we should aggregate all of the fully dipped cars on one thread to make it easy for those debating whether or not to do it, what color choices there are, etc.
Thank you. Let the madness begin.

I like how that guy deleted his post. I think plastidip should come with an age limit, like alcohol. This way 16 year old kids won't be painting every piece they can some obnoxious color.

I don't know why people use Plasti-Dip, it's not UV Rated.
Here's some better stuff from Eastwood -- http://www.eastwood.com/paints/rubber-coating.html

lol, it has been a party of one thus far.
I would not consider dipping my car. I am trying to make it easier for those who are considering it. I would wrap my car before I plasti dip my car.
However, I do think that some vehicles look pretty good, and the temporary, peel off factor is pretty cool, so I was just trying to see how many people have dipped their cars, and the results.

I think only like 2 or 3 people on this site have ever fully dipped an f-body, you can go thru the plasti-dip STICKY https://ls1tech.com/forums/paint-bod...-faq-pics.html to see whats been done, see post #232 on page 12 for how I accented the headlights, unlike the guy that deleted his post, I have since removed the black around the headlights since I installed my Superhawk hood which is still its raw gel-coat black.

All I'll say is I'm a fan of it. Easy to clean, no waxing, and best of all if I want to go back to black it is easy to do so. I used to be strongly against it, but for $300 I decided to give it a try. A lot of people are against it, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
Anyway, mine is matte white and is crazy bright in the sun. I love it. Was done in a garage in one short afternoon. Pics are taken with an iPhone so they may not show up the best.

I wanted to originally do a wrap but I read too many horror stories of the wrap damaging the clear coat. Search around and you can find them.

widow maker, i like that haha it was my platoon name when we went through basic training. I put 1 coat of blue on my sanded part of my car because i got lazy and decided just to wait until i can get a good paint job in the spring. IT peels off which is nice but i bought blue just to see how it looks and with one coat it just looks black haha. More coats would probably turn out better.

Alright I keep seeing pictures of Widow Maker's car and I finally have to say it. I usually think that white is the worst color that these cars were offered in but that matte white is seriously one of the coolest looking F-bodies that I've ever seen.
(Widow Maker was also the nickname for one of my shotguns before I ended up selling it lol).
