I agree with that for accuracy. I want it to fit perfect the first time with little-to-no modification. I also want it to look 100% spot on as well. What's the word on the fenders?

Fender plugs are half done...

Here's the update from middle of the week where we rejected it for more work...

Obviously the points need to go. However, nitpick away... help us catch everything...

Other than a little more grinding away of the points I say:

The only thing I want to ask is what kind of stuff should I nag a shop for when I go to get the center cut out. Like any special materials I should get for the top and bottom voids to fill in to prevent separation from the seams? Anything you could suggest when looking for a competent shop to get it done.

Its looking really good brother! We are excited to see it finished for sure! The center point looks spot on. The two points midway still need some refining. How's the core support mounting looking?

I think we all understand the legal aspect. I think its great that you guys came to a peacefully resolution and that we can now have a little piece of history or our own.

For the record, there is no legal issue. We said "style" and used their photos for comparison. The name was also never on the product nor was there ever any implication by us that this was their product. All covered under tm and copy right fair use. No different than saying "WS6 Style Hood".

The honest to God only reason we took it down is because they personally asked us to and they are good people who bad people have taken advantage of and that's not us. We made thus because we are fans not thieves. We admire them and wanted to show them respect. Even spent two hours on the phone today like a giddy school girl getting to hear awesome old school racing stories .

I totally understand, I just figured they wanted to keep their family name attachment for personal reasons. I commend you guys for doing the right thing.

Very much looking forward to the finished product and will likely add side skirts. Would love to see CF side skirts

Hmmm... glad you mentioned that as I forgot to ever revisit it. What are your thoughts on CF side skirts with blended in canard (right angle up then curve to the wheel wheel)?

I've been thinking about a good molded "mud flap" for the rear bumper, I'm ******* sick and tired of cleaning the bumper all the time but I hate the look of just a straight piece of plastic or metal sticking out sideways.

I think that would look nice and be better than having to bolt on two pieces. I wonder if a small kink/indent in the side skirt (similar to new Z06 and a little like the factory Trans Am's) would look good as well?

Yea just sent Mark an email.. Does anyone on here have this bumper? Likes or dislikes? I had a stock bumper with 6LE front splitter & it got ripped off just from prior mechanics beating on it & finally ripped off for good while driving on the hwy so I'm in need of a bumper. The Dick Harrell bumper kind of just has both splitter & stock bumper merged in one I just don't know about price
