How's this for wet??

Since everyone's posting there pictures, here are a couple of pics of my car with Vanilla Moose/S100 combo.

From your picture's it looks like Zaino is comparable to that.
Maybe you have to look at it in person.

I'd have to agree!

i guess you kinda have to have an eye to tell the difference. But i can tell they dont look the same good job zane

ZaneO Jun 21, 2004 10:15 AM

I guess you have to see it in person, then. It is very deep and not plasticy.

RUSSH Jun 21, 2004 11:20 AM

Mine looks just as glossy and my car is Silver :D

...and I only use Zaino ;)

ZaneO Jun 21, 2004 01:10 PM

I said nothing about gloss. I was just talking about depth. You may return to your cult meeting now.

Tailwind Jun 21, 2004 01:18 PM

That clearly does not look like Zaino.

Will you guys save your preaching for someone else? He clearly doesn't care, and his car looks better than it would with Zaino. Good job, Zane.

ZaneO Jun 21, 2004 02:18 PM

Thanks, Tailwind. How's the FMJ holding up?

I'm not trying to start anything with this thread. Just trying to help people realize that there are many other options out there and they, too, can look very nice.

dont waste your time no matter how much you tell them the response is "its zaino for life" i think most of the board members learn better by attaching pics

JackZ28 Jun 21, 2004 02:53 PM

Here you go my fellow Zaino cult followers. Tell me his shine is deeper, or wetter than this!

I have used almost everything that you guys have, without seeing both people prep their car and finding out what they used for a machine (if any), compounds, polishes, glazes and how many layers of protectant; all you people are doing is comparing apples to oranges.

I can get a bottle of Mother crap paste wax in a tub and in two layers make a car shine more than any of you, there is more to a shiny car than the final product.

i dont think Zane is making an attempt to compare himself to anyone else.

prep is an important factor, however i have no doubt that zane has properly prepped his Vehicle. its just an example of what a certain kind of combo looks like. Not look "i just zainoed my car" then all you get is mostly reflection shots which arent really that impressive unless its been properly prepped and a majority of the swirl marks are removed.

I said that I used Vanilla Moose. It is a glaze with light abrasives. I used it with a PC.

You can make a car shine more than any of us, huh? Wow, I can tell people I have talked to the greatest detailer in the world.

VIVA LA ZAINO!!!!!!

I'm sure glad you feel the need to post the same picture in EVERYONE ELSE'S thread. Go take that car out in the direct sunlight and capture a sun spot in the picture...come back and post it.

Your car looks like a giant plastic car, and I'm tired of you hijacking threads with it.

Joe "Preachers Sheets" DIESO Jun 21, 2004 03:53 PM

ZaneO, beat him as his own game, get a pic of your car inside.

Trust me, I know all about the direct sunlight + Zaino ;)

Joe "Preachers Sheets" DIESO Jun 21, 2004 03:54 PM

No need to explain what VM is, I already know. Oh by the way, I was siding with you dumbass. I didn't think it was fair of him to bash your finish without everyone knowing how both cars were prepped. Take it easy and re-read the post.

I'm not too shabby of a detailer, I could make a living preppy show cars if it came down to it ;-)

NOSjohn Jun 21, 2004 03:56 PM

DAmn, I was expecting to see some hot chic in a bikini that was just getting out of a pool...damn!

ZaneO Jun 21, 2004 04:01 PM

Joe - you asked about prep so I was telling you since you didn't seem to catch it from my original post. Sorry for getting huffy, but there are a few guys on this board that are unbelievable.
