Well it aint done yet. Lets see the real deal, not just some hypothetical wheel which is based on, I think we will agree, a piece of nonsensical horseshit turd from the factory. How could GM put a van wheel on our cars? I'm eagerly waiting. But hating how fng stupid the factory wheel was. Classic shitty old school GM.

How come nobody has asked what shop/website does this? No sponsors on here do anything like this so I don't see the problem.

I asked via PM just because Redline does offer something kind of similar but I don't even know if they are still a sponsor on here

Well, I am a super moderator, so I'd only be smacking my own hand.

Considering Redline sells a DIY kit, and this is a send it to them, and they do it shop, I don't see the issue.

Here's the site.
http://www.exoticcargear.com/custom-...teering-wheel/

I literally checked all the boxes, so that's why it's taking longer than expected, but it's the winter, and we just got snow today, so it's not like I'm driving my 900hp car any time soon.

^Redline does offer a flat bottom conversion and will wrap for you, got a quote the other day. The carbon fiber is the big difference

With much HP you should be able to power through any snow storm. No *****! JK, I'm in southern NY, got with the same snow. Salt is now on the ground so toy cars are officially off the road now until spring.

Here's my opinion, not that it matters but I wouldn't have gone with carbon fiber or the red line. Unless you've managed to integrate some other carbon pieces tastefully in your interior I think it is going to stick out visually. A nice, thicker and gripped flat bottom would be great, but the carbon and line make it look like it's coming from some exotic cars. And our cars are pretty low end when it comes to the performance car world. Were it me I would be shooting for something that looks organic. Again just my 2 cents.

Well, I do have some carbon fiber in the interior, and the exterior.

So the red stripe will go with my armrest cover, and shift boot cover, and the carbon fiber will go with the rest of my interior pieces that are done.

Default It's in.

Well, it is done, I just need to go pick it up.

I love the look of it. It's slightly thicker than stock, and the flat bottom isn't over done, and neither are the thumbgrips. It should look amazing and feel amazing in the car.

Here's some more pics. It feels great. It's slightly thicker, but not too thick. I just love the way it turned out, and should look amazing once I get it installed.
Best of all. The radio controls will go back in, and the airbag will still work, and it's just like factory, but better.

Here's some detail of the flat bottom with the finger grips added. It's a really nice touch.

Good points. Forgot about that cowl cover, that was a score.

New wheel looks fantastic.

Here's a cool comparison of before vs. after.

Notice they moved the thumb grips down to the 9 and 3 position vs. the factory 10 and 2.
